Akshay Kumar endorsed Micromax phone loses its 'bling'

There's some bad news for those of you who are in love with the Akshay Kumar endorsed Micromax Mobiles. The news is that, Akki will no longer be able to say "It twinkles!" in the ad, while his wifey dearest Twinkle Khanna flashes a 'Micromax Bling' phone.

Reason? Well, Delhi High Court has restrained Micromax, from selling or advertising the 'Bling' brand as it acceded to a trademark violation filed by Delhi-basedmobile phone maker Bling Telecom. The order states that the court has restrained Micromax, including its employees, agents, representatives, or anyone acting on their behalf, from using the trademark 'Bling' or any other name confusingly similar till the next date of hearing, February 8, 2011.

The court order (dated October 19, 2010), restrains the said company from displaying the Bling ads on TV and print.

Hopefully, Akshay will cover up for the missing 'Bling' with his presence in the commercials.
